The web guide systems follow the same working principle. The sensor reads the position of the line or edge of the material, to be guided and gives an electrical signal of error from the desired optimum position. This electrical signal is sent to the microprocessor control panel, which analyses the information and transmits an amplified correcting signal to the mechanical device taking the material back to the desired optimum position.
