• Ball - Alloy steel, heat treated, hard chrome plated.
• Race - Low carbon steel, inside diameter protective coated for corrosion resistance.

PTFE Liners available upon request. Specify by adding suffix "T". Ex.: COM-8T. (PTFE lined parts have no lubrication grooves in race. Lubrication holes are manufacturer's option.)

Aurora Bearing offers a complete line of standard rod end and spherical bearings. Aurora Rod ends, are unless noted, manufactured utilizing two construction methods. They are two piece ( body and ball) or three-peice type ( body , ball and race). Both are made with the solid, or one-piece, race construction method and feature the advantages of metal-to-metal contact between components.
