Video - How to Choose Pump for Brewery or Distilling

Transcript:

One of the main concerns for any brewery or Distilling is how to move liquids without loss of quality.

It becomes a real challenge when it comes to craft brewery because taste, smell and texture are all equally important.

The most common method used is pumping. While a pump is a pump, not all pumps are created equal.

In this video we share the key points you need to know in order to make the right choice for your brewery.
There are a few key things to consider when choosing a pump:

• Sanitary pumping
• It needs to have back flush sealing.
• It needs to be able to transfer heated Wort from a Mash Tun.
• The pump should be easy to operate and maintain by Brewery staff.
• Tank transfer and Filtration processing.

Watch this video where we compare the two most popular types of pumps: Sanitary Centrifugal pumps vs Sanitary Positive Displacement Lobe pumps.
