At John Brooks we offer the KBMM225D VSD for DC motors.

The KBMM™ full-wave variable speed DC motor control, now with Surface mount technology construction, offers the user the ultimate in reliability and performance at an affordable price. 

The controllers contain a unique, super fast, Direct-Fed current limit circuit that helps to protect the SCR power bridge against direct shorts, which can occur when the motor armature tracks to the ground.

The reliability of the KBMM™ is further enhanced with the use of high-surge, 25A SCRs and AC line and armature fusing. 

No need to spend time resetting the DC control when installing a KBMM, as they are fitted with KB’s exclusive Plug-in Horsepower Resistor, it eliminates the need for recalibrating IR Comp and Current Limit when the control is used with various size motors up to 1.5kw or 2.2kw when mounted on a heatsink.

John Brooks stocks the KBMM-225D  chassis mount VSD , where D module allows operation of 90 & 180 Volt DC motors when used on 115Volt AC or 230 Volt AC line single phase input.
