The variable speed drives (VSD) stocked by John Brooks are low cost, very versatile, and can be used in a wide range of applications. These AC-powered drives offer a range of benefits including improved motor efficiency, sensor less vector control gives a better speed range taking care of motor slip,low maintenance costs, ultra-low motor noise and reduction in motor start-up stress.

They have a built in PLC making it useful as a complete controller for simple automation applications.

Based on our experience, the A510s Series of variable speed drives can cover almost all motor driven applications in the New Zealand market. Drives are available in 1 or 3 phase configurations, and in IP20 rating.

The A510 VSD drives come in a 220V series, with kilowatt ratings from 0.75kW to 130kW (0.53~4.0KVA), and a 440V series, with kilowatt ratings from 0.75kW to 200kW.

Applications that this drive is ideal for include: conveyors, mixers, compressors, packaging equipment, pumps and elevators.
