The raw edge V-Belts stocked at John Brooks were specially developed to meet exacting demands regarding power output and smooth running.
• Cogged Belts: Tighter bending radius that maintains cross sectional shape resulting in greater torque transfer (grip).
• Cooling: Heat is the biggest cause of deterioration in belts, and the internal cogs create air turbulence that dissipates the heat from the belt
• Construction: Made using two types of rubber and Kevlar fibers. These belts don’t stretch, and are very robust meaning they only bend in the directions that they are intended to.
These belts are also tolerance stable so that belts with the same section and length can be used as matched parts.
